Norway has a long tradition of handknit wool sweaters. The most popular of these designs is the Marius sweater. It is based upon a traditional pattern from Setesdal, Norway, that was modernized by Birgit Eriksen in the 1920's. The Marius sweater has always been a favorite of Norwegians and is today undergoing a revival in popularity. We are proud to bring a bit of Norway to you in this custom sweater made by our knitters in Ecuador.
